Your password for the Comcast Control Center (C3) must be reset quarterly. And now, you will get reminders before your password expires. Please be advised the below email notification will be sent to these Business Partners 14-days, 7-days, 5-days, 3-days, 2-days, and 1-day before their password expires.  The notifications will stop after the password is changed.

Your new password must conform to the requirements shown below, but it will allow you to change your password to something you can remember rather than a system generated password. Which brings me to a very important point – in order to reset your password, you must know your old password.

Since most of us allow our browser to remember our passwords rather than have to type them in manually each time, a best practice for new users is to change your password immediately to something you can remember. If for some reason you are unable to reset your password or are having some other type of password/access related issue, please send an email to Sam BrodskyTanu MittalMatthew Trujillo, or Greg Trent.

Length Requirements:

  • Must be at least eight characters in length

History Requirements:

  • May not use any of the last eight passwords

Complexity Requirements:

  • Passwords must not contain the user’s entire Account Name (i.e. BP ID) value or entire Full Name value. Both checks are not case sensitive:
  • Passwords must contain characters from three of the following five categories:
    • Uppercase characters of European languages (A through Z, with diacritic marks, Greek and Cyrillic characters)
    • Lowercase characters of European languages (a through z, sharp-s, with diacritic marks, Greek and Cyrillic characters)
    • Base 10 digits (0 through 9)
    • Non-alphanumeric characters: ~!@#$%^&*_-+=`|\(){}[]:;”‘<>,.?/
    • Any Unicode character that is categorized as an alphabetic character but is not uppercase or lowercase. This includes Unicode characters from Asian languages.
