Businesses are continuing to face unique challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, forcing them to continually think, plan and pivot to be successful.  Continuing to rely just on home Internet to be productive won’t cut it.

Remote workers must have high-bandwidth Internet for day-to-day activities, including participating in video conferences, accessing apps in the cloud, sending and receiving business data, and more. This can create connectivity challenges considering that everyone in the house is fighting for the same bandwidth, including kids taking online classes, spouses working from home, and everyone streaming content.

Comcast Business has three different data solutions to support “at home” workforces, based on their specific needs, including:

  • Comcast Business Internet for workers who need their own, separate, business-grade Internet connection in their home for standard day-to-day work.
  • Ethernet Over HFC for workers who need high-speed prioritized Connectivity, either private WAN or Internet with security and managed router options.
  • Ethernet Over Fiber for workers who need Internet with the most speed to handle large, bandwidth-intensive files and applications over their private WAN or Internet.

For a closer look at these three solutions, and how they stack up against standard residential Internet, see our information sheet.
